This Watch
A very attractive Retro piece produced by the usa Longines-Wittnauer group. This watch is what we term as "Nos" - New old stock and has amazingly been in storage for over 50 years untouched. It has a very attractive quartered blue dial with a two tone effect and simple but effective mix of numerals and markers , polished chrome tonneau shaped case with steel expanding type bracelet. Mechanical manually wound Swiss movement.

"Longines - Wittnauer" was the name of an American import company that was, for a time, the exclusive North American distributor of Longines Watches. However, it was not directly part of the Swiss "Longines" corporation, and they imported and sold other brands in addition to (and completely unconnected to) the Longines watch company. An important distiction to make when describing the watch, as some of their watches (like this one) were rather firmly targeted at the mid-range buyers who were more interested in function and value.
This watch is sold with its original box, paperwork and tag as pictured. The watch comes paired on an original 16mm steel sprung filoflex type bracelet The watch is circa 1970s and is sold in New Old Stock condition, any signs of wear are from storage over the years. What we think
This watch reminds me of many models from omega watch company , especially the Deville. Also Notes from Jaeger lecoultre . During the 1970s colour and shape possibilities were endless and imagination ran wild, what an incredible time it must have been.
